Cleveland Sight Center

Radio on the Lake Theatre is proud to work with the Cleveland Sight Center, a resource and advocate for those who are blind or visually impaired. For over a century, CSC has provided vision rehabilitation, employment, children's and support services to Northeast Ohio residents of all ages. In Spring 2024, ROTLT partnered with CSC to present audio playwriting and performance classes for CSC’s clients. The culminating event was held at The Bop Stop at the Music Settlement in Cleveland.

Podcasting and Playwriting

Our teaching artists work with the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District to bring the joys of podcasting, playwriting and audio storytelling to area students.

BorderLight International Theatre + Fringe Festival

ROTLT has proudly partnered with the BorderLight International Theatre + Fringe Festival for the past three years. Our first project was BorderLight’s first commissioned work! Under the Sycamores, A Secret Path Audio Experience in Cleveland’s Historic Erie Street Cemetery is a self-guided, site-specific outdoor audio experience and invites you to choose your own path through the Erie St. Cemetery. ROTLT has also performed immersive audio experiences at the 2023 and 2024 BorderLight Fringe Festivals.

“With their focus on radio plays, Radio on the Lake Theatre provides a unique offering in Northeast Ohio. In a pandemic year, their expertise allowed BorderLight to offer safe, affordable original programming of local interest”
